For so many of us the solutions are a "no brainer" Withdraw immediately from Iraq and Afghanistan. Bailout the homeowners instead of the banks, (trickle up economics) Provide Medical for all, including prevention education including nutrition, exercise, herbal remedies, etc. We wonder why President Obama doesn't wave his magic pen and make the world a better place, like bailing out the auto companies who vow to manufacture only hybrid/bio diesel vehicles. Well, as Alice Walker said yesterday at the Raven's Theater in Healdsberg. We just have to love him unconditionally and continue our own work to do everything and anything we can to inspire, activate, and wake the sleeping nation. It's up to us. Good luck everyone.

your site is very useful; I especially liked the comments of George Friedman re Obama's quandary in Afghanistan...it should be a no-brainer (Get the Hell Out!) but it's not...Obama's presiding over an empire in precipitous decline...isn't it just like America to leave that task to the first black president? did you know that in the only Hollywood movie in which the president fails to save the country, the president is played by Morgan Freeman?
